Q: After the basic course, will there be advanced classes offered?
A: Absolutely, there are many classes available when you are ready to take your skills further. Many are offered imediately after the 5-day class. Some evenings and weekends included.
Q: How much money can I really make?
A: As much as you want to. This trend is going through the roof with increased public awareness, TV commercials, and an upcoming reality show derived solely on permanent makeup.. I made my initial investment back within a few months.
Q: Will I be ready after just 5 days?
A: You will be surprised at how much (and how quickly) you will learn in such a short amount of time. Plus, at Mona Lisa's, you always have the option of bringing clients here to work on them, through the apprenticeship program.
Q: Could I get my eyeliner done while I'm here?
A: Yes, and actually I would encourage you to do so. This is an excellent way for you to experience how wonderful the new topicals work. It also gives your clients a chance to see the end result on someone else. ($150.00 per procedure, students only)
Q: Is there financing available?
A: Loan offers are available with up to 60 months to pay back or we can set up an automatic drafting payment plan through your charge card.
Q: Can I get any additional supplies I may need at Mona Lisa's?
A: Yes, we carry many of the products you will use daily at very competitive prices.
Q: Do I bring my own models to class?
A: We would like you to have one model for each of the three procedures (you may have more than one). You may also choose to bring one model who receives one to three procedures. For our students from out of town, we can help with model setups.
Q: Do I need any other licenses besides the certificate that I will receive on Friday (assuming all tests are passed)?
A: No, not in Ohio and most other states. We are governed by the Board of Health and fall under the tattoo and piercing laws.
Q: Is permanent makeup hard work?
A: In my opinion, this doesn't seem like work. Making people feel beautiful is such a reward, and being able to set your own schedule is priceless!
